Speaker Spotlight: Luke Pilon

Another great speaker that we are excited to have is Luke Pilon, who is the founder and managing partner at Mobiah.  If you had the pleasure of seeing him at WordCamps in Orange County or Columbus, you know you are in for a treat.  If not, there is nobody we would rather have start the day and we are sure by 9:45am you will agree.

With that said, here’s today’s Speaker Spotlight:

I’ve been using WordPress for 4 years and designing software for it for 2.

What are your thoughts on the WordPress community as a whole, including WordCamps?

It’s what sets the software apart. I haven’t found it’s equal in any software or service I’ve ever used.

Who in the WordPress community inspires you? Who do you follow?

Nacin. Zinn. Passy. Hawkins. McInvale. Erlewine. Boone. Chexee. Jacoby. Pilon. Seymour. Mullenweg. Cannon. Daley. Armeda. Willet. Parsell. Wells.

What is the most exciting feature/addition/improvement to WordPress that you have noticed in the last year?

I’m stupid excited about Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven.

Where do you see WordPress 2 years from now?

Living under an assumed name somewhere in Texas, wearing huge glasses and a cowboy hat.
